Apply NowThis contract position offers an opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite support across multiple elementary and middle schools in the Minneapolis area. The role is designed to cover several maternity leaves and includes a mix of direct therapy caseloads with no evaluation responsibilities, following a 3:1 service delivery model (three weeks direct, one week indirect services).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services for elementary and middle school students, including those in Setting III CDC.
- Manage a typical elementary school caseload focusing on therapy only; evaluation duties are handled separately.
- Deliver services onsite across multiple locations with flexibility to cover varied start and end dates depending on maternity leave schedules.
- Collaborate with school staff and contribute to student IEP goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and therapy records in compliance with district protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
- School SLP licensure with eligibility to work in Minnesota.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings.
- Ability to manage mixed caseloads in both general and special education environments.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation.
Location and Schedule:
- Position serves schools in Anoka and surrounding Minneapolis suburbs.
- Full-time contract role averaging 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Flexible assignment periods ranging approximately from December through May to align with maternity leave coverage needs.
