This contract opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide on-site therapy services in a K-12 school setting located in Minneapolis, MN. The role supports multiple maternity leave coverage assignments across several elementary and middle schools within the district. This multi-school position is ideal for candidates interested in varied clinical experiences in educational environments.

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Anoka-Hennepin district area)
Duration: Contract, leave coverage with varying start and end dates based on maternity leaves
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Service Model: 3:1 service model — three weeks of direct therapy services followed by one week of indirect services
Caseload: Typical elementary school caseload with additional students from Setting III CDC; no evaluation responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy services to school-aged children (K-12), primarily in elementary and middle school settings
  • Manage caseload across multiple buildings including Brooklyn Center and Blaine locations
  • Collaborate with school staff to support communication development and therapy goals
  • Follow a 3:1 schedule model ensuring consistent therapy and documentation
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in team communications

Desired Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with certification of clinical competence (CCC) preferred
  • School-based SLP experience highly valued
  • Open to Clinical Fellows (CF); SLPA candidates not considered
  • Ability to provide therapy in person at multiple school sites
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with various student needs including Setting III CDC populations
