A school in Minneapolis, MN is seeking two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for direct hire contract positions starting mid-August 2026, with formal staff orientation beginning on August 24th. These roles offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication development across a diverse age range.
Position #1 will primarily serve students in grades 6 through 12. Position #2 will work with a mix of elementary students and those in grades 6 through 12 who attend online school.
Both roles require managing a caseload of approximately 40 to 55 students. The weekly schedule is 38.75 hours, which includes paid lunch time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress.
- Document therapy sessions and track student outcomes.
- Provide teletherapy services as needed, utilizing best practices for remote intervention.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC certification.
- Experience working in school settings, including with both in-person and teletherapy modalities.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent.
- Ability to engage effectively with students across elementary to high school levels.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
