Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP (CCC or CFY welcome) or SLPA
  • Previous experience working with pediatrics, preferably within school or healthcare settings
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, goal-setting, and progress tracking
  • Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to the evolving demands of a school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct speech/language therapy to students in-person and/or via teletherapy
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support personnel
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Deliver engaging interventions tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Serve as a resource for staff and parents regarding communication disorders and strategies
