Speech Language Pathologist in Minneapolis, MN

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (required for SLP roles)
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLPs preferred
• Eligible for or hold current SLP or SLPA state licensure
• Experience in school settings or healthcare environments working with children preferred
• Teletherapy experience a plus
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Strong commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
• Provide direct and indirect therapy in accordance with IEP goals and state/federal guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Adapt intervention techniques to serve students in both in-person and teletherapy settings
• Assist with training and supporting educational staff regarding speech-language programs
• Support initiatives to promote communication skills throughout the school community
