Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Previous experience in schools, healthcare, or pediatric settings preferred
- Minnesota licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Collaborative spirit and flexibility to adapt within diverse school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, interpreting assessment data to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social development
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing progress and contributing expertise on evidence-based interventions
- Provide guidance for teachers and families to encourage speech and language growth both in and out of the classroom
