Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) applicants are encouraged and supported
- Previous experience in educational, pediatric, or healthcare settings is highly desirable
- Strong collaborative mindset for working with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
- Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to ensure students receive holistic support
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, data collection, and professional reports
