Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Previous experience in schools, healthcare, or pediatric settings preferred
  • Minnesota licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Collaborative spirit and flexibility to adapt within diverse school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, interpreting assessment data to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social development
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing progress and contributing expertise on evidence-based interventions
  • Provide guidance for teachers and families to encourage speech and language growth both in and out of the classroom
