Make a meaningful impact supporting high school and transition-age students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant educational setting near Minneapolis, MN. This contract opportunity spans the full school year, beginning August 24, 2026, and ending June 7, 2027, with weekly hours ranging from 37.5 to 40. You’ll work with a caseload of approximately 50 students, helping them develop communication skills that lay the foundation for lifelong success.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligibility for Minnesota state licensure in SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or with adolescent populations is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy for secondary-level students, including those in high school and transition programs
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer consultative support and training to teachers and staff regarding communication needs and classroom strategies
