Help shape students’ communication skills and make a meaningful impact as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role supports a diverse K-12 population across sites with an itinerant caseload, offering you the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educational teams and see your expertise make a real difference.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist state license
  • Professional License, Level 2, 3, or 4 as per Minnesota Department of Education (see ASHA requirements for reference)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA strongly preferred
  • Previous experience providing SLP services in a school or pediatric setting
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and adaptability skills
  • Ability to commute to various district sites as needed
  • Commitment to on-site service (teletherapy is not an option)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, specialists, and parents to support student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and progress reporting
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Travel between assigned schools within the district to meet caseload needs
