Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
  • Experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy services to students with communication needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate regularly with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the multi-disciplinary team
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, keeping practices current and evidence-based
  • Offer consultative support and in-class strategies to facilitate student growth
