Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential speech-language services in a dynamic school environment near Minneapolis, MN. This full-time, onsite role (37.5 hours per week) will run from August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027, making a meaningful difference in students’ educational journeys.
In this position, you will work collaboratively with educators and other specialists to support students’ communication needs, guiding them towards greater academic and social success. Your expertise will be valued as you help shape and implement individualized plans that unlock each child’s potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based practice
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Strong skills in developing, implementing, and updating IEPs
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Delivering direct IEP services to students with speech and language needs
- Writing and updating SLP-relevant information in IEP documentation
- Completing SLP-specific sections in student evaluations
- Developing comprehensive progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators to support student goals
- Maintaining thorough and accurate records of student progress
