Make a meaningful impact supporting middle school students through communication challenges in this rewarding school-based contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This position offers a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) split between two middle school sites and runs from early September 2026 through June 2027. Positioned near the vibrant Minneapolis area, you’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and empathetic staff, helping empower students academically and socially.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license and professional certification for Minnesota
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience working in schools or with school-aged children is highly preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • A positive, collaborative approach and passion for supporting students’ growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy in both individual and small group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to support student goals and document progress
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records, and prepare required reports
  • Consult and educate staff and families regarding effective strategies and accommodations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team planning for student success

In this role, you’ll actively shape students’ confidence and communication skills, fostering a supportive environment where every child can flourish. Compensation for this contract opportunity ranges from $50 to $60 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
