Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY
  • Current Minnesota SLP license, or the ability to obtain one before start date
  • Previous experience in a school setting (preferred, but not required)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to working inclusively with students from diverse backgrounds

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation and therapy services for students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to integrate speech/language strategies within classroom activities
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Support family engagement by offering guidance, resources, and regular progress updates
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing professional development
