2 Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) Needed | 2026-2027 School Year | Minneapolis, MN
A school district in Minneapolis, Minnesota is currently seeking two dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. These are excellent opportunities to join a collaborative and supportive educational team while working with a diverse student population. The district is actively reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews for qualified candidates.
Assignment Details:
• 2 Full-Time SLP Openings
• Start Date: Mid-August 2026
• New staff orientation prior to formal school start date of 8/24/2026
• Full-Time: 38.75 hours per week (includes paid lunch time)
• Caseload: Approximately 40–55 students
Position #1:
• Student Population: Grades 6–12
Position #2:
• Student Population: Mix of elementary-aged students and students in grades 6–12 attending online school
Responsibilities:
• Conduct speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services
• Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for services
Qualifications:
• Active Minnesota Speech Language Pathologist License
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
