A school in Minneapolis, MN is seeking two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join their team as direct hires, with the opportunity to work both onsite and through teletherapy. These positions offer the chance to serve diverse student populations in a supportive educational environment with a focus on delivering high-quality speech and language services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for students requiring speech and language support
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for students across varying grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress using district protocols
- Participate in professional development and staff meetings during orientation and throughout the school year
Position Details:
- Position 1: Serve students in grades 6 through 12
- Position 2: Serve a combination of elementary-age students and students in grades 6 through 12 who attend online school
- Caseload ranging from 40 to 55 students
- Full-time schedule averaging 38.75 hours per week, which includes paid lunch time
- Start date in mid-August, with new staff orientation followed by formal work beginning on 8/24/2026
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience providing school-based speech therapy and teletherapy services
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for new graduates
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
