Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Mishawaka, IN

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting student communication needs in an educational setting near Mishawaka, IN. This long-term assignment calls for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide exceptional speech and language services from September 14th to March 1st, 2027. The caseload features 41 students, including 1-2 students at a nearby alternative education center, offering the chance to make a real difference across a diverse group of learners. The team is open to SLPA applicants, provided a qualified supervisor can be arranged.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Indiana
• Recent school-based experience strongly preferred
• Ability to manage a varied caseload with professionalism and adaptability
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Willingness to travel to the alternate education center (as needed)
• Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students on caseload
• Develop, implement, and review individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
• Document services, progress, and recommendations clearly and timely
• Provide consultation and support to alternative education staff as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and other school-required activities
