School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Mishawaka, Indiana

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with K-12 students in northern Indiana. Embark on a meaningful journey from August 2026 through late May 2027, supporting student learning and communication in a dynamic educational setting. This role offers 35 hours each week, providing impactful services to diverse learners across multiple grade levels.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Indiana SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates considered
• Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly desired
• Comfort with conducting assessments, creating plans of care, and implementing both individual and group therapy sessions
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students from kindergarten through high school
• Develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions both individually and in groups, focused on measurable progress
• Document evaluations, ongoing progress, and parent communications in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Consult with teachers and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success within the educational environment
• Foster an inclusive, positive atmosphere for students of all ability levels
