Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services within schools in the San Juan Capistrano area. This full-time, on-site position is ideal for dedicated professionals ready to support students during two leaves of absence, with confirmed start dates anticipated for mid-October and mid-November (exact dates to be determined).

As a valued school-based SLP in this assignment, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic educational team to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives. The caseload will span varying age groups, offering a diverse and impactful experience across one or more campuses, with specific school assignments to be provided.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California SLP License (required)
  • Prior experience in school settings preferred, but open to those with strong clinical backgrounds
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and student needs
  • Commitment to best practices and ethical service delivery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with all state and federal regulations
  • Engage with families, teachers, and support staff to maximize student progress
  • Travel between assigned schools, as needed
