Speech Language Pathologist in Mission Viejo, CA

Step into an essential role supporting students’ communication development in a vibrant school community. We are seeking passionate Speech-Language Pathologists to cover three leave-of-absence assignments at preschool, elementary, and middle school campuses in the San Juan Capistrano area. As a valued member of a collaborative team, you’ll make a meaningful impact on the lives of students from early childhood through adolescence.

Opportunities span from September through December, with a high likelihood to extend through the full school year. Full-time schedules provide consistency and connection with students, allowing you to fully integrate into each school environment.

What we're looking for:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active, valid California SLP licensure
• Experience in educational settings preferred, supporting preschoolers, elementary, and/or middle school students
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 55 students effectively
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
• Flexibility and adaptability for working with diverse teams and age groups

What you’ll do:

• Deliver assessments, develop and implement IEP-driven treatment plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families
• Provide direct and consultative services tailored to individual student needs
• Engage in team meetings, documentation, and compliance with school and state guidelines
• Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students
