Step into a rewarding contract opportunity making a difference in the lives of elementary students near Missouri City, TX. This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role offers an engaging mix of clinical and school-based practice for professionals dedicated to supporting student growth and communication skills.

Your weekly schedule will total 37.5 hours, primarily on an elementary campus with a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students near year-end. You’ll collaborate with one ECSE classroom, a self-contained classroom serving K-4th, and a behavioral support program (note: not all in these programs receive services). There’s also flexibility to work remotely one day each week, a benefit designed for work-life balance and professional focus.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC required)
  • Robust background in school-based SLP services; direct school experience is essential
  • TX school experience highly preferred
  • Strong pediatrics and healthcare knowledge as it applies in educational settings
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children and diverse student needs
  • Comfortable collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
  • Clinical Fellowship (CF) applicants will not be considered

  • Administer assessments and create tailored therapy plans for students ages K-4th
  • Deliver intervention and ongoing support for students with communication needs
  • Maintain accurate records and document progress for IEP meetings
  • Serve on interdisciplinary teams, collaborating closely with teachers and specialists
