This full-time, onsite contract role supports middle and high school students—grades 6-8 or 10-12—based on your preference, ensuring you work within your expertise and comfort zone. Assignments are made with consideration to your ZIP code, making your commute as convenient as possible.
You’ll be part of a supportive team, collaborating closely with educators and administrators to provide a full scope of SLP responsibilities. From conducting therapy and assessments to participating in ARDs and supporting IEPs, your skills will make a substantial difference in student progress and school outcomes. The caseload typically ranges between 50–60 students, allowing you to foster meaningful therapeutic relationships and make a lasting impact.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Texas SLP license; Florida license if applicable (please include an image of your license with your application)
- Experience with ARD meetings, evaluations, and direct therapy in a school setting
- Knowledge of middle and high school developmental needs
- Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with multiple campuses as assigned
- Must complete or have valid fingerprinting for school district credentialing
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with school teams
- Conduct ARD meetings and maintain timely documentation
- Deliver both individual and group therapy
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
