Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP licensure in North Carolina
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Experience supporting pediatric populations in educational settings strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to fostering inclusive environments and embracing a diverse student body

Role responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a range of students
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and family members to monitor progress and adapt strategies
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing expertise to ensure optimal student outcomes
• Maintain detailed service records and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations
• Serve as an advocate for students’ communication needs, promoting awareness and education within the school community
