A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Modesto, CA, supporting K-12 students within a school setting. This contract role involves managing a caseload of approximately 55 students, focusing on developing and implementing individualized speech and language interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech and language disorders in K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Utilize evidence-based techniques to support communication development and academic success.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation according to state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or currently completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY).
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K-12 settings.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on-site full-time from ASAP through the end of the school year.
