Speech-Language Pathologist in Modesto, CA

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Modesto, CA, supporting K-12 students within a school setting. This contract role involves managing a caseload of approximately 55 students, focusing on developing and implementing individualized speech and language interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech and language disorders in K-12 students.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to support communication development and academic success.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation according to state and federal regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress discussions.

Qualifications:

• Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or currently completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY).
• Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K-12 settings.
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site full-time from ASAP through the end of the school year.
