An established K-12 school in Modesto, CA is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide vital support to students throughout the current school year. This full-time, on-site contract position offers an opportunity to work closely with a caseload of approximately 55 students, helping to improve their communication skills and academic success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist Credential
- Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) eligibility
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language development in children
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and school staff
Location:
- Modesto, California
- On-site position throughout the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a diverse student population
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ overall educational goals
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
