Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current California SLP licensure or eligibility (CFY applicants welcome)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLP-CCC applicants
  • Strong understanding of school-based speech-language services
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary school students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with state and school guidelines
  • Provide resources and training to staff and families as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
