School Speech Language Pathologist - Modesto, CA

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Valid California SLP license (or eligibility)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
• Strong foundation in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy to elementary students in both individual and group settings
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other educational staff
• Maintain accurate records and document student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Engage in regular communication with families to encourage progress and address concerns
