Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP licensure or eligibility (CFY applicants welcome)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLP-CCC applicants
- Strong understanding of school-based speech-language services
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for elementary school students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with state and school guidelines
- Provide resources and training to staff and families as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
