Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Current state licensure for practice as an SLP in California, or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations to students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, according to student IEPs
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings with staff and families
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and district policies
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support student success
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and trainings
