Drawing from your background in speech-language pathology, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and students across a diverse K-12 caseload. Your expertise will help ensure every student has the tools and strategies to succeed both academically and personally.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
  • California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or candidate for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience in a school setting is appreciated, but strong clinical fellows are welcome to apply
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes, speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate with diverse teams

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and screenings for K-12 students with communication needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services in both group and individual settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to foster student progress
  • Keep organized documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain and expand your skillset
