Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY accepted
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine students’ needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with language, speech, or communication disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to monitor and report progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
  • Offer consultation and support to faculty regarding strategies and modifications to foster student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
