Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY accepted
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with language, speech, or communication disorders
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to monitor and report progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
- Offer consultation and support to faculty regarding strategies and modifications to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts
