Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year, working onsite with a welcoming K-12 school community near the Mohawk, NY area. From September 2, 2026 through June 25, 2027, you’ll play an essential role in the academic and social success of students, primarily focusing on kindergarten through eighth grade, with a smaller caseload of high school students (a total of 40 students, including 4 high schoolers).

This full-time position spans Monday through Friday, 7:40am to 3:05pm, providing a structured schedule that supports work-life balance and professional growth in a school-based environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Hold, or be eligible for, a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP); Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
  • Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Proficiency with evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring in school-age populations
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills to work with educators and families
  • Comfort with both in-person assessment and therapy models

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy for K-12 students, working predominantly with elementary and middle school ages
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Foster meaningful progress through direct intervention, progress tracking, and partnership with teachers and families
  • Contribute to IEP development and attend meetings as part of the educational team
  • Maintain timely records, collaborate proactively with colleagues, and champion each student’s communication success
