Join a dynamic TK-12 district supporting over 3,600 students, located close to Mojave, CA. We’re seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, onsite contract role during the 2026-2027 school year. Your expertise will make a vital impact on students at both the elementary and high school levels, serving as an essential resource across a range of needs from general education to moderate/severe disabilities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in working within school settings, particularly with elementary (TK-5) and/or high school (9-12) populations
- Ability to manage a caseload of up to 60 students with varying needs
- Comfortable providing onsite-only services for the duration of the contract
- Adaptability to work with students across the spectrum of communication and language needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and intervention services for students within the district
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized goals
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, school staff, and families
- Maintain detailed records, prepare progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver services at both Rosamond Elementary School and Rosamond High Early College Campus
- Support students’ social, academic, and personal development through communication strategies
