This full-time opportunity is based in a middle school environment and is ideal for professionals seeking a meaningful contract assignment with flexibility and growth. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 10, 2027, offering consistency and the chance to build strong relationships with students and school staff.

In this position, you will primarily work onsite, but for added flexibility, a temporary virtual arrangement (30 to 60 days) can also be considered if needed. You’ll join a collaborative educational team, providing essential support to help young learners develop their communication skills.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience in school settings, especially with middle school students, is highly valued
  • Ability to provide a current screenshot verifying your licensure and certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among middle school students
  • Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the special education team
  • Track student progress and document services according to school policies
  • Provide direct therapy as well as consultative services to teachers and families
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise on communication development
