Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing SLP in schools
- Previous experience in school environments is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to inclusive practices and student-centered therapy
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency skills to identify needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide engaging, evidence-based therapy to students with diverse speech-language needs
- Monitor progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation compliant with district and state requirements
- Support and train staff and families in strategies to enhance communication
- Participate in eligibility meetings and professional development activities
