Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure and certification required for SLPs in school settings
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience with K-12 populations, ideally within an educational setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation-based speech-language services to a diverse caseload of approximately 70 students, supporting their academic and social growth
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to design and implement effective strategies
- Conduct assessments and participate in team meetings as needed, offering insights and recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Serve as a resource for language and communication development, ensuring each student’s needs are addressed
