Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with elementary and middle school students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position offers the chance to make a significant impact on student development, collaborating with school teams and supporting a manageable caseload. You'll enjoy a consistent, structured workweek and the opportunity to supervise Clinical Fellows if you hold your CCCs.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) for Alabama
  • Alabama professional educator license (verify status via the state's certification portal)
  • Will consider CCCs and Clinical Fellows (CFs)
  • Experience supporting elementary and/or middle school populations is highly valued
  • Ability to work onsite for the full assignment duration
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Willingness to supervise if credentialed with CCCs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students, addressing communication challenges and supporting academic success
  • Manage a weekly caseload of approximately 60 students, generally at one school—occasionally at two sites
  • Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
  • Supervise and mentor Clinical Fellows (for CCCs only)
