Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Must hold a valid Alabama ASHA Certification
  • Eligibility for Alabama Educator SLP Certificate (may be pending to start)
  • School-based SLP experience is preferred
  • Comfortable delivering therapy and conducting evaluations across elementary and high school campuses
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to support student goals
  • Schedule and manage a balanced caseload of up to 60 students
  • Serve across multiple campuses, ensuring consistency and high-quality service delivery
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance
