School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Monticello, Kentucky

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and appropriate state licensure
• ASHA certification (CCC) or eligibility for CFY
• Previous experience in school-based SLP roles strongly preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood programs, including First Steps and Head Start
• Familiarity with preschool speech/language evaluations, RTI, and therapy services
• Confident in supervising and mentoring SLPAs
• Collaborative, flexible approach and excellent communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, deliver speech-language services, and implement RTI for preschool students
• Supervise and support a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) as required
• Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to develop and monitor student IEPs
• Provide additional coverage as needed across school placements without being exclusively tied to leave replacement
• Adapt services and interventions to meet the diverse needs of students in changing school environments
• Maintain thorough documentation and report on student progress
