Ideal candidates possess a passion for school-based therapy and the flexibility to adapt to evolving caseloads.

Preschool SLP Role Highlights:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for preschool children
• Deliver Response to Intervention (RTI) strategies and direct speech therapy sessions
• Supervise and mentor a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Collaborate closely with early childhood programs, including First Steps and Head Start, to support student progress
• Tailor communication supports for young learners and families

SLP for District Coverage:

• Provide supplemental speech-language services across the district according to immediate needs
• Offer targeted therapy and support for students to help bridge service gaps
• Flexibly adapt to changing caseloads and placements
• Serve as a vital resource for staff and administration, assisting in diverse educational environments

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure; open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with CCC credentials
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with early intervention programs (First Steps, Head Start)
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
