A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a school in Montoursville, PA, specializing in preschool and early intervention services. This onsite role offers a 35-hour workweek and is a contract position starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year (EOSY).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for preschool-aged children.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to early childhood developmental needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in team meetings and provide recommendations for student support and resource allocation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with preschool and early intervention populations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Knowledge of best practices in speech-language pathology assessment and therapy for early childhood.
- Ability to work onsite full time in a school-based setting.
