Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain one for Vermont
  • Experience delivering services in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students in elementary through high school
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, adjusting methods as students progress
  • Offer consultative support and resources to educators and families to maximize student success
