Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech Language Pathologist in the beautiful Montpelier, VT area. We are currently looking for two dedicated professionals: one to cover a maternity leave from August 19, 2026, to October 31, 2026, and another to fill a part-time role from August 19, 2026, through July 14, 2027. Both positions focus on providing intervention and support to students, with a manageable caseload and a schedule that allows you to focus solely on high-impact speech services.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and certification (CCC or CFY considered)
- School-based experience preferred; open to clinicians passionate about working in educational settings
- Flexible, collaborative attitude with strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech/language therapy services to K-12 students
- Develop and implement IEPs, progress reports, and data tracking
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Manage caseload efficiently within guaranteed hours
- Fulfill documentation and reporting requirements related to student services
- No additional district duties—focus on providing therapy during assigned hours
