A fulfilling opportunity awaits an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist who is eager to contribute to the success of elementary students for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, in-person contract position is perfectly suited for dedicated professionals who are passionate about fostering communication growth in young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged children.
  • Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in close collaboration with teachers, families, and school staff.
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions and integrate support within classroom environments as needed.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and timely progress reports, ensuring full compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team devoted to student success.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Virginia SLP license, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous work with elementary-aged students, preferably in a school setting.
