Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current VA SLP license (Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship Year applicants welcome)
- Experience supporting children in schools or pediatric healthcare settings preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and team collaboration skills
- Passion for advocating for students’ educational and social needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique requirements
- Deliver evidence-based therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
- Provide consultative support to staff and parents regarding communication strategies
