Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist. This school-based assignment begins August 10, 2026, and extends through May 20, 2027, offering a rewarding way to make a genuine impact throughout the academic year. With a manageable caseload of 20 students, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to provide individualized attention and help young learners build vital communication skills.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license, with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Prior experience serving school-aged populations or elementary students preferred
  • Strong understanding of school-based SLP responsibilities and best practices
  • Capacity to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams for student success
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students on an elementary caseload
  • Provide targeted therapy sessions individually or in small groups, adapting to diverse learning needs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to maximize outcomes
  • Document services, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings when appropriate
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure successful carryover of communication strategies

Schedule and Caseload:

  • 37.5 hours per week during the academic calendar
  • Support approximately 20 elementary students through direct speech-language therapy services
