A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current SLP certification and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide specialized speech and language services within a school setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school policies
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute expert recommendations
- Monitor and report student progress regularly, adjusting therapy plans as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with current state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Experience providing SLP services in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to manage caseload and prioritize responsibilities in a contract setting
