Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting preschool-aged children as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with pre-school populations preferred
  • Strong clinical fellowship candidates considered, provided strong foundational skills and independence
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Organizational skills for managing a caseload of 40-45 students

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for preschool students
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students’ progress
  • Track and document student goals, progress, and session outcomes according to district standards
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide suggestions and resources for classroom teachers to facilitate communication-rich environments

This opportunity spans the full school year, with a start date of August 17, 2026, and an end date of May 28, 2027. Expect a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours and the satisfaction of working with a supportive interdisciplinary team in a positive school setting. Compensation for this role ranges from $45 to $60 per hour, dependent on your experience and qualifications.
