This full-time, contract opportunity near Monument, CO, offers a collaborative school environment where your expertise will empower children to achieve their communication goals. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active SLP license in Colorado (or eligibility for CO licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Passion for helping students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational team
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy services and conduct group sessions as appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and district standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with special education regulations
- Offer guidance and resources to families and faculty regarding communication disorders
