Desired Background and Skills:

  • Active state SLP licensure required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility welcomed
  • Previous experience in elementary or pediatric settings highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of school-based SLP assessments, intervention, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborative spirit, with effective communication and consultation skills
  • Familiarity with IEP development processes and related documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in line with students’ educational goals
  • Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress and generalization of skills
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessments, progress, and services provided
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Deliver therapy and support within a collaborative, inclusive school setting
