Desired Background and Skills:
- Active state SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility welcomed
- Previous experience in elementary or pediatric settings highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of school-based SLP assessments, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Collaborative spirit, with effective communication and consultation skills
- Familiarity with IEP development processes and related documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders among elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in line with students’ educational goals
- Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessments, progress, and services provided
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Deliver therapy and support within a collaborative, inclusive school setting
