This contract position runs from August 13, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week. You’ll work onsite with elementary and middle school students, making a meaningful difference in their academic and social growth.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
- Open to SLPs holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Background in providing speech and language services within a school setting
- Strong collaboration skills working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students in elementary and middle school
- Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based intervention plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and document progress towards goals
- Work closely with teachers, family members, and other specialists to support student success
- Maintain thorough records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide consultation and support to help general education staff effectively support students with speech-language needs
