A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist is needed for a full-time opportunity, working 37.5 hours weekly with a caseload of approximately 55 students. This assignment runs from August 6 to May 27, providing critical speech and language services near the Fontana and Moreno Valley, CA area.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California licensure as an SLP or SLPA (no SLP CFs at this time)
- Previous school-based or healthcare experience working with pediatric populations
- Bilingual Spanish skills required to best support student needs
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to providing culturally responsive, equitable service
- Comfortable managing diverse needs across elementary and/or middle school ages
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Deliver therapy sessions and monitor students’ progress toward established goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and support for students’ educational planning
- Deliver both group and individual therapies as needed
