This contract opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) seeking to make a difference in students’ communication development while collaborating closely with educators and SLPA support on site.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Appropriate state licensure for SLP practice
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Skilled in evaluating and treating students with mild to moderate communication challenges
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
- Comfortable working a split schedule between middle and high school campuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in both middle and high school settings
- Maintain and manage a caseload of approximately 55 students with mild/moderate needs
- Collaborate with campus teams and families to develop and monitor IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and generate timely reports
- Supervise and provide guidance to a SLPA assigned to each campus on various days
- Participate in meetings, multidisciplinary planning, and professional development as needed
- Complete required documentation accurately and on schedule
