Empower student voices and support communication growth by providing speech-language services to middle and high schoolers in a dynamic educational setting near Moreno Valley, CA. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity offers a unique, split assignment across both middle school and high school campuses, engaging with a diverse group of students who present with mild to moderate needs. An SLPA will be available to assist you on designated days at each location, allowing for effective collaboration and greater impact.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid CCC-SLP certification required
  • California licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 55 students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in both middle and high school settings
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services addressing receptive, expressive, and pragmatic communication needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, families, and the SLPA to ensure continuity of care
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Facilitate IEP meetings and contribute meaningfully to the academic success and inclusion of students with communication challenges
