Support students’ communication growth in a dynamic school environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving K-12 learners across two welcoming sites in the High Desert region. This is a contract opportunity for a skilled professional committed to making a positive impact during the 2026-2027 school year.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Active California state Speech-Language Pathologist license and CTC Credential (required)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) highly preferred, though candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CF) with full licensure and preliminary CTC are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience delivering speech therapy to school-aged children across a range of grades
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload not to exceed 55 students, serving both Heritage School and Vista Verde
  • Willingness to work fully onsite; virtual service and SLPA coverage are not options
  • Comfortable supporting students from kindergarten through high school

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments and providing individualized speech-language therapy to diverse groups of students
  • Developing and implementing appropriate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
  • Traveling between two sites within the Victor Valley area as needed
