Make a real difference in students’ lives as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist in the High Desert region. This is a full-time contract opportunity supporting students from kindergarten through high school at two welcoming school sites. What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license (active or pending issuance before start date)
- California CTC Credential (active or preliminary as required)
- Preference for CCC-SLP, but strong CF candidates are welcome if supervision can be arranged
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
- Ability to manage school caseloads up to 55 students effectively
- Team-player attitude with excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct onsite speech and language therapy services to students across two schools
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Document student progress, maintain records, and communicate status with caregivers and staff
- Serve as a resource to teachers, staff, and families regarding speech and language development
This position offers school-based stability with the variety and challenge of supporting two distinct campuses. You’ll work closely with a supportive educational staff—no virtual work and no SLPAs involved, ensuring a hands-on and rewarding professional experience.
