Key Qualifications:

  • Current California State Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Valid California CTC (Clinical or Services Credential)
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Passion for supporting diverse learners and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech/language therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders
  • Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff, families, and other support personnel
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and provide regular reports on outcomes
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to support student achievement
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to intervention teams
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student growth and confidence
