School Speech Language Pathologist - Moreno Valley, CA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary students as a leave replacement this school year. This contract position runs from January 4th through the end of March, with the possibility of extension. You’ll work at one school site near Moreno Valley, CA, providing invaluable services to a caseload of 55 students, including those with speech-only needs and those receiving resource services.

Key Qualifications:

• Credentialed SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Prior experience supporting school-aged children, especially in an elementary setting
• Familiarity with caseload management, documentation, and IEP requirements
• Strong collaborative skills and effective communication with students, families, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt to a variety of speech and language needs within an educational framework

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to assigned elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct both individual and group sessions, adjusting strategies to support diverse learners
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes; complete required documentation within timelines
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a cohesive educational experience
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning and review processes

You’ll enjoy a steady weekday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., working 35 hours per week on this dynamic school team.
