School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Morgan Hill, California

Make a meaningful impact in education working with students in a supportive and collaborative school environment. Two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for the 2026-2027 school year, offering the opportunity to help young learners thrive as effective communicators.

You’ll work from August 19, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with a consistent weekday schedule from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm. These contract positions will serve elementary students at a single site and manage a blend of Resource Specialist Program (RSP) and Special Day Class (SDC) caseloads. This is a chance to contribute your expertise in speech therapy while being part of a team focused on the best possible outcomes for children.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current California SLP licensure (or eligibility in process)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Compassion for working with elementary-aged children with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify students with speech, language, and communication challenges
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Deliver direct speech-language services, both individually and in small groups
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff
• Participate in IEP meetings; maintain accurate records and progress reports
• Foster an encouraging, inclusive atmosphere that supports each child’s development
