You'll have the opportunity to use your clinical skills in a supportive school environment near Morganton, NC. This full-time, contract position offers a 40-hour workweek across two vibrant school sites, allowing you to collaborate with diverse professionals and shape students’ communication skills for a lasting difference.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • North Carolina SLP license and ASHA CCCs or Clinical Fellowship Year eligibility
  • Experience and comfort working in pediatric, educational, or healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with school-based SLP duties, including assessments and service delivery
  • Ability to provide both direct and consultative support to students
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency with documentation, including ECATS & Medicaid processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to students in elementary and preschool settings
  • Conduct thorough speech-language assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings as an integral team member
  • Maintain timely, accurate records in ECATS and Medicaid billing documentation
  • Work onsite and collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and staff to optimize outcomes
