Ideal candidates possess strong experience in a school-based setting and have an active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure and active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience providing speech-language services in K-12 schools, ideally with younger learners
- Strong assessment and individualized education program (IEP) development skills
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities
- Passion for working with children and supporting diverse learning needs
Role Duties:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for elementary-aged students
- Write and manage IEPs; develop personalized therapy goals
- Provide direct therapy in both individual and group settings
- Track student progress and report results to parents and staff
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and other service providers
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for all students
